my Godbrothers and Godsisters:
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to
Srila Gurudeva. All
glories to Srila Prabhupada.
As you are aware, all Vyasa-puja offerings are subject
to editing and
sometimes even rewriting. With regards this year's
Vyasa-puja book, the
editing team in Fiji tried their best to leave your
offerings untouched, but
also had their own reasons for editing out the parts
that they did.
Normally, if some part was to be edited out, those
concerned would have been
consulted to allow time to make your own adjustments.
However, due to the
amount of time involved in editing and collating,
and considering when the
offerings are submitted, it is sometimes impossible
to go back and forth by
email, especially when there are deadlines set or
if the offerings in
question were sent by postal mail. I do trust all
members of the editing
team were sensitive enough and that nothing was distorted
nor miscontrued in
the final publication.
I nevertheless humbly ask all of you for your forgiveness
and understanding
if there is any offense taken.
